Crowdcube was founded in 2011, motivated by a tough post-recession world and inspired by an unshakable belief in entrepreneurs that dream big and want to make a difference in the world. Today, they are the world’s largest equity crowdfunding platform.
The likes of Monzo, Brewdog, Pod Point, Pip&Nut and Grind were amongst nearly 900 companies raising a total of £690 million to date. The team behind the platform are very much like us – in love with ambitious, brave and determined businesses who are on a mission to leave a mark on the world.
We can’t wait to introduce you to two amazing Crowdcube team members at our upcoming dinners – Jules Buker & Rachel Loosley.
Jules is part of the Commercial Team at Crowdcube, helping entrepreneurs understand the power of crowdfunding. He tells us “It’s amazing to meet so many great founders and businesses at various stages of growth. Working with companies in different industries is fascinating!”
Working in the Marketing team, Rachel helps tell the story of Crowdcube by creating lots of different content such as blog posts, case studies and videos. “I love learning about different businesses and the exciting new ideas and products they’re bringing to life. It’s amazing to watch them grow, too!”
