After Dinner roundup: FinTech dinner with Josh Bell from Dawn Capital

It’s always a happy time in the TableCrowd office after a dinner with a venture capitalist; the level of passion, drive and ideas at the table are second to none. Every diner was in his or her element last night, and the meal at Aubaine Mayfair was top notch, as usual.

As Head of Financial Services Investment at Dawn Capital, Josh Bell spoke predominantly about fundraising and comparing the pros and cons of finding different types of funding. He covered VCs, investors, crowdfunding and others, whilst giving an insight into how each type should be approached. Much like searching for a job, sending out a generic email and hoping for the best just won’t cut it when you’re looking for funding. Essentially, Josh provided key insights in how to be attention-grabbing to find the type of investment that works for you.

Josh’s Top Tip: Pick a form of investment that works for you and can do all of the groundwork.
