Table Crowd
Enjoy a chance to meet…
Ben Brabyn is the former Head of Level39, Europe's leading fintech and cybersecurity cluster based in London, who two years ago launched GenieShares, an initiative aimed at celebrating the inspiration and value created by entrepreneurs, while closing the growing gap between business and society. GenieShares helps each entrepreneur broaden the reach of their business by giving away 1% of their shares to deserving people. This step aims to increase sales, attracts investors and retains staff, building a more inclusive and equitable society!
This is perfect for…
Startup founders and management at startups and entrepreneurs looking to learn from a leading UK tech ecosystem champion.
This dinner is open to a limited number of service providers / advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner). Please see the details under the 'Join this table' button.
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right event for you. Also feel free to check out our other events as another might match you perfectly!
The conversation will be…
Ben has a wealth of experience and knowledge in building brands and ecosystems with global appeal - brands that blend ambition, purpose, compassion and humility. This a great time to hear from Ben who will be talking about:
✓ Why distributing equity shares can lead to business growth.
✓ Finding the right investors for your business.
✓ The current UK tech ecosystem and tech trends that will impact 2021 and beyond.
✓ Founding GenieShares and its story so far!
Who is Ben Brabyn ?
Ben Brabyn is the Founder of GenieShares, an initiative that helps great businesses show their engagement with the community by distributing equity. GenieShares helps each entrepreneur broaden the reach of their business by giving away 1% of their shares. Ben is also the former Head of Level39 and ran the UK’s Trade & Investment's Venture Capital Unit, so has a wealth of leadership experience in the UK tech ecosystem.
How it works?
A fully hosted experience with a knowledgeable speaker and curated group of guests. There will be the usual introductions, talk from our speaker and then a hosted Q&A. Bring your own glass of wine, mint tea or Horlicks!
What’s included?
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. We ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.
#MeetandEat
If you book a place and then can't make it, please make sure you tell us. An empty place at the table with your name card is not a great start to dinner!

One of the TableCrowd hosting team will be on hand to help you get set up to take part virtually - you can join early if you need a hand! They will then run the event as close as possible to our face to face format - with a few adaptions (no seat move needed!)
All the joining details will be sent to you on the day to your registered email, so please make sure you check the right inbox!
