Enjoy a chance to meet…
Hannah McCollum is co-founder of ChicP, a sustainable brand producing nutritious veggie bites and delicious alternative hummus made from surplus vegetables. Founded with a passionate commitment to reduce the growing problem of unnecessary food waste in the UK, ChicP utilises wonky British crops that are rejected due to their size or shape to create their delicious dips. Over the last few years they have won many awards, sold in top independent supermarkets and on Amazon Fresh. Hannah will be sharing all on growing a successful, sustainable FMCG brand and business.

This is perfect for…
Female startup founders and management level at startups working for FMCG brands and/or businesses with sustainability a core focus. This dinner is open to a limited number of service providers / advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner). Please see the details under the 'Join this table' button.

If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!

The conversation will be…
A Trailblazer winner at Food Vision and a winner at the World Food Innovation Awards, amongst other accolades, Hannah and award-winning ChicP have been brilliant in creating both a sustainable food business and a brand based on sustainability. Take this opportunity to hear from Hannah who will be talking about:
✓ Growing a successful, sustainable FMCG brand and business.
✓ The importance of your own business mission and statement.
✓ Getting stocked in supermarkets.
✓ Why it is important to support the next generation of female business leaders.
✓ Lessons learnt in starting and growing ChicP.

Who is Hannah McCollum?
Founded by Hannah McCollum, ChicP was set up to bring healthy, colourful dips to the food market. A hummus lover, tired of bland and unhealthy options, Hannah decided to combine her creative cooking and eagerness to help prevent food waste, into healthy, punchy vegetable hummus from surplus vegetables!

How it works
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. We ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.

What's included
A fully hosted experience with knowledgeable speaker and curated group of guests. There will be the usual introductions, talk from our speaker and then a hosted Q&A. Bring your own glass of wine, mint tea or Horlicks!

#MeetandEat

If you book a place and then can't make it, please make sure you tell us so someone else can take your place!

An outgoing, entrepreneurial Durham graduate, Hannah had cooked for families in the UK and all over Europe, predominantly as a private chef. She would often convert the leftover Ottolenghi type salads into dips for the next meal. Ambitious, enthusiastic and outgoing, this inspired Hannah to start a company that could truly make a difference and help feed the nation!

Claire Jenkins of the TableCrowd hosting team and our Women Ambassador will be on hand to help you get set up to take part virtually - you can join early if you need a hand! They will then run the event as close as possible to our face to face format - with a few adaptions (no seat move needed!)

All the joining details will be sent to you on the day.
