Enjoy a chance to meet…
Melissa Morris is the CEO and Founder of Lantum, a powerful workforce scheduling platform for healthcare. Lantum saves healthcare organisations in both NHS and the US millions annually by efficiently automating processes end to end, connecting the right clinicians with the right shifts. Previously known as Network Locum, Lantum has won a string of awards and has raised £13m+ to continue to grow and scale. As a healthtech disruptor, the company is on a mission to save the NHS £1 billion every year by cutting out traditional recruitment agencies. Melissa will be talking about succeeding in healthtech.

This is perfect for…
Startup founders and management at startups working in the healthcare industry or SaaS focused companies. This dinner is open to a limited number of service providers / advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner). Please see the details under the 'Join this table' button.

If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right event for you. Also feel free to check out our other events as another might match you perfectly!

The conversation will be…
Lantum is used UK-wide and in the US. As a healthtech VC backed technology company, with global ambitions to solve staffing problems in healthcare systems around the world, this is a great chance to learn from a leading and experienced healthtech founder. Melissa will be talking about:
✓ Succeeding in healthtech - the key attributes your business will need to have.
✓ Growing into the US market - key lessons learnt.
✓ How the pandemic has driven healthcare innovation.
✓ Tech trends and technology that will further impact the health sector in 2021 and beyond.
✓ The journey of Lantum as a software business, evolving from a labour marketplace.

Who is Melissa Morris?
Melissa Morris is the CEO and Founder of Lantum. She started her career as a management consultant at Mckinsey & Company where she developed a passion for improving healthcare systems. So much so that she left and went to work for the NHS in the Strategy Directorate at the start of its reorganisation in 2010.

A £13m VC-backed tech company, Lantum was previously selected by NHS England to join the NHS Innovation Accelerator, a program which highlights leading technologies within the NHS and helps them scale.

How it works?
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. We ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.

What’s included?
A fully hosted experience with knowledgeable speaker and curated group of guests. There will be the usual introductions, talk from our speaker and then a hosted Q&A. Bring your own glass of wine, mint tea or Horlicks!

#MeetandEat

If you book a place and then can't make it, please make sure you tell us. An empty place at the table with your name card is not a great start to dinner!

Lantum was operating in both the UK and US, with 20,000 clinicians using the platform and 5 million patients seen by Lantum doctors. While the US expansion has been paused to focus on helping NHS England tackle the pandemic at home, Melissa fully expects it to be back in full swing by the end of the year.
