Who is Richard Hurtley?
Richard Hurtley is a multi-channel lifestyle fashion brand founder, with almost a decade’s worth of experience. Richard has coordinated all functions of brand and retail management; secured two significant rounds of investment and sold to leading global retailers such as Zalando, ASOS and John Lewis. Having worked with established and emerging brands, Richard has completed multiple successful online marketplace consultancy projects for well known European brands looking for a holistic approach to retain more brand control and improve or launch on high traffic sites like Amazon, eBay, La Redoute, Otto and Zalando.
How it works?
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. We ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.
You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd. This is a dinner, not a dropin event, so we ask that guests turn up on time and don’t leave until after the Q&A.

Richard has coordinated all functions of brand and retail management; secured two significant rounds of investment and sold to leading global retailers such as Zalando, ASOS and John Lewis.
Having worked with a mixture of established and emerging brands, Richard’s background has enabled him to focus on supporting brands to navigate the murky waters of online marketplaces. He has completed multiple successful online marketplace consultancy projects for well known European brands looking for a holistic approach to retain more brand control and improve or launch on high traffic sites like Amazon, eBay, La Redoute, Otto and Zalando.
Richard has also been a board member for key industry membership organisation, UK Fashion and Textiles (UKFT). Alongside this he was co-founder of UKFT Rise and Chairman for 4 years, which is an inclusive and informative networking community for people recently joining in the fashion sector.
Key accolades include being part of the Maserati100 for helping fellow entrepreneurs, Drapers 30 Under 30, Spectator Rising Stars, Startup Loans Ambassador and he has had the privilege of talking about his experience on BBC News, BBC 5 Live, The Telegraph and in Drapers.
