Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. Read 'How it works' below for the details. There is no cost to join but guests are invited to make a voluntary contribution to NHS Foodbox Fundraiser for St Thomas' ICU

Enjoy a chance to meet…
Hasna Kourda and Mehdi Doghri are co-founders of Save Your Wardrobe, an exciting and innovative FashionTech startup that is using artificial intelligence to digitise a person's existing wardrobe, helping people manage their wardrobe more mindfully and in turn unlocking more sustainable consumption behaviours. An alumni from the Fashion For Good, Plug and Play Accelerator, the Farfetch Dream Assembly Accelerator, Centre for Fashion Entreprise and concepted at a TableCrowd dinner, Save your wardrobe has the potential to change how people approach fashion consumption. Hasna and Mehdi will be talking about using tech to enhance the fashion consumer experience.

This dinner is perfect for…
Startup founders and management level at startups working for fashion and consumer focused businesses. This dinner is not open to service providers / advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner).

If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!

The dinner conversation will be…
This is a great opportunity to learn from founders working in the fashion and sustainability sectors. You’ll leave with ideas and inspiration for your own business, as well as the opportunity to speak to others facing similar industry challenges and opportunities as you. Hasna will be talking about:
✓ Using tech to enhance the fashion consumer experience.
✓ Why sustainable consumption is an important part of your business plan and mission.
✓ Trends that will impact the fashion and beauty sectors.
✓ Key lessons learnt from launching and growing Save Your Wardrobe.

Who are Hasna & Mehdi?
Hasna Kourda and Mehdi Doghri are co-founders of Save Your Wardrobe. Hasna grew up in Tunisia, where as in many other African countries, textiles from European countries are exported to and thrown away in landfills, causing major environmental issues. She started Save Your Wardrobe with a hope of making consumers more aware of their after purchase behaviour.

Mehdi is an experienced digital product leader and entrepreneur passionate about new technology, mobile applications and user experience. He started his career in tech and worked for blue chip companies including Orange, EDF and Airbus. He later helped launch a mobile agency and then a tech startup. After he led a team of product managers in the digital business banking team at Barclays to help shape and launch innovative digital banking products for Barclays' business customers.

How it works
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. It is FREE to join but we will be limiting the number of guests at each dinner to ensure the experience works for all. So, we ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.

What's included
A fully hosted experience with knowledgeable speaker and curated group of guests. There will be the usual introductions, talk from our speaker and then a hosted Q&A. Bring your own glass of wine, mint tea or Horlicks!

#MeetandEat

If you book a place and then can't make it, please make sure you tell us so someone else can take your place!

Mehdi Doghri
Mehdi Doghri is an experienced digital product leader and entrepreneur passionate about new technology, mobile applications and user experience having a global digital experience of over 10 years. He started his career in tech, playing with programming languages like HTML/PHP, C++ and Java/J2EE platforms. Then he worked as a solution architect for blue chip companies as Orange, EDF and Airbus. He left his corporate career when the Apple App Store was first released. During the next 5 years he helped launch a mobile agency and then a tech startup that disrupted the entertainment and publishing business in the travel and hospitality industry. He has developed and shipped many products from iOS and Android applications to API based cloud services. After he led a team of product managers in the digital business banking team at Barclays to help shape and launch innovative digital banking products for Barclays' business customers.

Save your wardrobe builds a digital wardrobe by instantly uploading customers clothes from their online receipts found in their emails and online retailers accounts. They also provide an innovative and effortless solution to capture a new item using computer vision through their mobile app. Their recommendation engine uses state of the art machine learning to automatically create new outfits based on what their customers already own, their lifestyle and sends proactive suggestions when it identifies any needs their customers have.

Save your wardrobe is bringing for the first time all the services needed around wardrobe management such as outfit recommendations, dry cleaning, alteration, selling and donating in a unique digital platform!

No dinner provided, but please join with a glass of wine, mint tea, mug of Horlicks or your usual tipple!

One of the TableCrowd hosting team will be on hand to help you get set up to take part virtually - you can join early if you need a hand! They will then run the event as close as possible to our face to face format - with a few adaptions (no seat move needed!)

All the joining details will be sent to you on the day.

This dinner has been arranged by the Ambassador for our Fashion Community, Viviane Paraschiv, Augmented Retail Manager at Farfetch.

For any advance questions about this dinner, it is best to reach us at hello@tablecrowd.com.
