Enjoy a chance to meet…
Alastair Dryburgh spent years working as a heavyweight crisis manager, before becoming a growth strategist. For the duration of the crisis he has now returned to his former specialism. Everything has been thrown up in the air. As a business leader you have two tasks. In the short term you need to keep the ship afloat, but at the same time you must position your business to thrive in the New Normal, whatever that turns out to be and whenever it starts. On the night, Alastair will give you some of the key concepts and techniques you need to do that.
This event is perfect for…
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at email@example.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!
The conversation will be…
At this virtual dinner, Alastair will be speaking about:
✓ Do you have a Right to Exist? Why it's so important, and how to find it;
✓ How to set priorities, and deal with the inevitable distractions;
✓ Tactics for improving cashflow; from the common-sense-but-often-missed to the truly original;
✓ Developing a defensive value proposition; how to sell to the paranoid, the paralysed, the panicked and the anxious.
Who is Alastair Dryburgh
Alastair Dryburgh is a leading strategist who has been described on Forbes as “the leading authority on strategies for resolving stickiness and igniting growth.” For 14 years Alastair has been working with companies who have been stuck on a plateau - in some cases they have been in crisis, in others simply wanting to achieve more. Alastair as published 2 books.
How it works
Due to COVID-19, this is a virtual dinner. You can dial in from your laptop or phone. Joining details will be circulated to attendees on the day. It is FREE to join but we will be limiting the number of guests at each dinner to ensure the experience works for all. So, we ask for the same respect you would have at a face to face event - turn up on time, don't leave until after the Q&A and tell us if you are no longer able to attend.
A fully hosted experience with knowledgeable speaker and curated group of guests. There will be the usual introductions, talk from our speaker and then a hosted Q&A. Bring your own glass of wine, mint tea or Horlicks!
If you book a place and then can't make it, please make sure you tell us so someone else can take your place!
After a degree in mathematics at the University of Cambridge, Alastair worked in finance and was a finance director of several companies. He soon realised that finance did not have all the answers to the problem of restarting growth, but neither did any other discipline.
Alastair has two published books, Business Remastered and Everything You Know About Business is Wrong and writes a monthly column for Management Today and a weekly one for Forbes. He speaks regularly at conferences and seminars across the UK and further afield including Paris, New York, Singapore and Dubai.
One of the TableCrowd hosting team will be on hand to help you get set up to take part virtually - you can join early if you need a hand! They will then run the event as close as possible to our face to face format - with a few adaptions (no seat move needed!)
All the joining details will be sent to you on the day.
