What Green Angel Syndicate invests in…
Green Angel Syndicate was created to make investments in early stage technologies, processes and installations in the Green Economy. The syndicate invests in early stage, innovative technology companies that are seeking to improve the way we use resources - energy, water and the wider transition to a greener economy - sustainable transport, smart cities. Typically they invest £150-500,000, often participating with other investors, and they can act as lead investor or in a supporting role in a larger group.

portfolio Includes…
Smile Plastics, AirEx, BuyMeOnce, NatureMetrics, Entomics, Zeigo, Betterpoints, Swytch Technology, Piclo, to name a few.

This dinner is perfect for…
Founders and management level at startups working for businesses focused on the green economy.

This dinner is not for service providers or advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner).
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!

The dinner conversation will be…
Whilst Green Angel Syndicate want to invest in companies which have a positive impact, every single business they back must have the objective of delivering good returns to investors. With this in mind, Nick Lyth will be talking about:
✓ Investing in the green economy.
✓ Commercialising green innovation.
✓ The importance of understanding your market and its scalability.
✓ What Green Angel Syndicate look for in investable deal flow.
✓ Tech trends that will impact the green economy in 2020 and beyond.

Who is Nick Lyth?
Nick Lyth is co-founder and manager of Green Angel Syndicate (GAS), the only angel investment syndicate in the UK specialising in the fight against Climate Change and Global Warming. He is responsible for finding and selecting the companies in which the syndicate invests, as well as business development for the syndicate. Prior to GAS, Nick founded, developed and managed International Resources and Recycling Institute, which specialised in applied research, working in European partnership projects exploring innovations in renewable energy, water management, sustainable transport, waste and recycling, and other areas of resource use.

What’s included?
You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd. This is a dinner, not a dropin event, so we ask that guests turn up on time and don’t leave until after the Q&A.
