Twelve months ago Monzo set the record for the "quickest crowdfunding campaign in history" when it raised £1m in 96 seconds via Crowdcube! Last year, they were granted a UK banking licence by the FCA and PRA and are now working hard to roll out their free current account this year. Twelve months ago Mondo set the record for "quickest crowdfunding campaign in history" when it raised £1m in 96 seconds via Crowdcube, and in August 2016, they granted a UK banking licence with restrictions by the FCA and PRA and are now working hard to roll out their free current account this year.
They now have over 100,000 users, are sending out more than 1000 cards per day with week on week user growth more than 5%, their in-app chat customer support average response times are under 5 minutes most weeks, and they continue to ship new features every couple of weeks — the most recent, Monzo.me, now has hundreds of payments go through it everyday where users can accept payments from anyone.
