Escape the City helps a rapidly growing community of over 200,000 talented professionals start businesses and pursue meaningful career paths. They do this through remarkable job listings, offline education and their growing community of 200k members.
In 2012 Escape the City turned down VC funding to become one of the first equity Crowdfunded businesses, raising £600k from 395 Esc members. They have published their own book, The Escape Manifesto. They work with their team of 11 full-time employees from their large educational space, The Escape School, in Central London.
