Rocket Restaurant in the City of London in a charming pedestrian courtyard just off Old Broad Street and Threadneedle Street is a hugely popular pizza and salad restaurant with a pair of heaving bar areas. This has rapidly become one of the City’s favourites. The ground floor bar is where friends meet and catch up, while the smarter lounge bar is a place to settle in and both have terraces. When you’re hungry, it’s the first floor dining room - a glamorous and relaxed space with great design - where you’ll find everything you desire. The innovative pizzas are big enough for a proper meal while the equally creative salads have a great reputation of their own. There are seasonal and daily specials too. Rocket takes particular pride in its well-chosen wine list where no (non-sparkling) bottle costs more than £60 and dozens are available by the glass.
