A hip little east London haunt tucked away on Great Eastern Street, Floripa is a vibrant Shoreditch bar and restaurant serving up wholesome Brazilian cuisine and brilliant British tunes. A fusion of colour and cultures, Floripa is the nick-name of Florianópolis – a small Balearic style city-island off the coast of Brazil. Inside, the restaurant is decorated with exotic frescoes, potted palms, vintage tiles, eclectic furniture and plenty of candles, and the menu is filled with Brazilian staples. We love the Afro-Brazil Muququita, locally sourced Hand of God style steaks, and hearty feijoada. Add a list of cocktails from Ipanema and Florianapolis and you have a freeform feast that will impress the hungriest hipsters. Great for birthdays, office drinks, dates and cocktail parties – Floripa is a little off-the-beaten-track Shoreditch gem.
