Deepali Nangia is investor and mentor for early-stage startups in tech, with a focus on female enterprise. In 2020, Deepali will be investing on behalf of the Atomico Angel Program, a program that activates a new generation of angel investors who are well placed to discover the most innovative and ambitious founders at the start of their journey.

Deepali has personally invested in five female CEOs running businesses in e-commerce, fintech, femtech, digital health. Deepali will be investing on behalf of the Atomico Angel Program in 2020, and her theme will be female founders raising from Seed to Pre Series A.

Who is Deepali Nangia?
Deepali Nangia is investor and mentor for early-stage startups in tech with a focus on female enterprise. She has a wealth of experience working in investment banking and private equity and most recently ran the investment business at Wild Blue which includes sourcing and evaluating early stage businesses and companies that have a link to West London. She has also worked in insurance with senior positions at Aon and Marsh & McLennan.

Deepali Nangia is investor and mentor for early-stage startups in tech with a focus on female enterprise. In 2020, Deepali will be investing on behalf of the Atomico Angel Program, a program that activates a new generation of angel investors who are well placed to discover the most innovative and ambitious founders at the start of their journey.
Deepali has a career with a wealth of experience working in investment banking and private equity and most recently ran the investment business at Wild Blue which includes sourcing and evaluating early stage businesses and companies that have a link to West London. After a career that started with working in investment banking and private equity she moved into insurance with senior positions at Aon and Marsh & McLennan. She left the City eight years ago.
She has mentored at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, SHEROES India and for the Althea-Imperial women in tech program. Her most recent mentee was a winner of the Women in Innovation Awards at Innovate UK. Deepali is also an advisor at Trunkaroo, a female-led subscription based ed-tech business. She also provides pro-bono mentoring for women through Imperial Enterprise Lab and ZincVC.
Originally from India, Deepali holds a BA in Economics degree from University of Rochester and an MBA in Finance from University of Rochester – William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administratio and started her career at Salomon Smith Barney in New York and at GE Equity in Greenwich, Connecticut before arriving in London in 2012.
