Enjoy dinner drinks and a chance to meet…
Daisy Onubogu is Head of Venture Scouts at Backed VC, a community-driven seed stage VC fund, based in London. In the two years since launching, they backed 25 rapidly scaling companies, building products loved by the millennial generation or solving deeply technical problems faced by the next generation!

What Backed VC invests in…
They invest at the seed stage in Europe and the US. As a team, they're united by an obsession with how disruptive technology companies can change the world for the better. They aim to radically diversify the landscape of venture and investing by ‘doing VC’ without waiting for permission.

Backed VC’s portfolio includes…
Foundries, Meatable, CloudNC, Flexciton, unrd, Medal, TechWillSaveUs, Dataseat, THIS, Pollen, Oh My Green, Banked, to name a few.

This dinner is perfect for…
Founders and management level working for tech businesses looking for seed investment. This dinner is open to a limited number of service providers / advisors (unless a TableCrowd partner). Please see the details under the 'Join this table' button.

If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at hello@tablecrowd.com to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!

The dinner conversation will be…
Backed VC have reported that over 90% percent of the companies they invested in more than 9 months ago have already secured follow-on funding at an average valuation markup of 3x, so this is a great opportunity to meet with Daisy, their head of scouting! Daisy will be talking about:
✓ Why Backed VC loves investing at seed stage.
✓ Key lessons learnt from mentoring and supporting leading tech startups.
✓ Why companies deserve more than just capital and what a VC firm should offer.
✓ The importance of research before reaching out to VCs and investors.

What’s included?
