I'm here for

Business and Friendship

Interesting fact

I've spent literally all of my life in school getting advanced degrees--PhD, JD, MBA, two LLMs, on top of barrister pupillage training--and I'm now finally entering the real world outside of school in 2021. I've built an amazing and profitable holding company alongside my studies but now I'm ready for the next stage of growth. Putting everything I know from books and my own analysis into practice has been thrilling, exciting, and so much fun. I get a real intellectual kick out of my line of work. I love what I do so much that it doesn't even feel like "work" per se and I honestly can't see myself doing anything else. I was an early bird entrepreneur from about age 3 and it's amusing to look back at old childhood photos; where other Indian kids were playing with their stethoscopes, I always had my tiny briefcase and a love of studying patterns. It's really amazing to be living my childhood dream to be a businesswoman and I still pinch myself sometimes that all my dreams are coming true. I think this love and passion is what distinguishes entrepreneurs and investors from other types of businesspeople; we wake up everyday with so much happiness and purpose. I believe we're all interconnected and ultimately a part of one another so it's quite exciting to branch out from my circles and meet new people who are equally passionate about what they do.

Favourite restaurant

Tie between Nobu London and The Ned's various restaurants - nothing better than a mani/pedi spa evening and eating sushi!

Favourite dish

California roll sushi with two slices of ginger and a dollop of sriracha sauce alongside gluten free udon noodles in bone broth, gluten free chicken gyoza with paleo ponzu sauce, Benihana rice with steak and orange mayo, and freshly squeezed orange juice on the rocks. I'm a huge gourmand and went to cooking schools in Paris, Portland, Sydney, Seoul, and Tokyo and authored my first (charity) cookbook at age 24; there's nothing I relish more than exploring a new dish. What I like about TableCrowd is that it combines my two biggest interests: fine dining and fine business conversation.
