Pavegen is a clean-tech company that has pioneered a flooring technology, generating electricity from the kinetic energy of footsteps. Here at TableCrowd HQ, we’re fascinated by the technology and inspired by Laurence’s achievements.
We’ll enjoy dinner & drinks followed by an after-dinner talk and informal Q&A with the founder of Pavegen, Laurence Kemball-Cook. Laurence is passionate about solving problems. Thinking about what he could do to make cities more sustainable, he saw that an alternative source more constant than the most common alternative energy sources today would be important. His solution is people. You can read more about Laurence below.
Laurence will share his story, from inception of the idea, through to rapid growth and scaling, through to fundraising and “what’s next?” Laurence will also share insights on the future of clean-tech and smart cities.
The company went into overfunding on Crowdcube in just 3 days of launching their campaign to raise £750,000. Within a week, they hit the £1m mark.
This dinner is open to entrepreneurs. Take this chance to meet Laurence informally over dinner and hear his really inspirational story.
