James and his co-founder brother Timothy are both dog lovers and recognised the potential of a service that would allow dog owners to find and book local, trusted service providers.

Gudog is an award winning marketplace and has been featured in Forbes, Tech Crunch, The Financial Times and the Huffington post and is fast becoming the go to brand in pet care. Previously known as HouseMyDog, they earlier this year merged with Madrid-based Gudog, its main European competitor – making it the largest platform of dog walkers in Europe.

In 2017, Gudog became the fastest ever Irish crowdfunded company raising €650k in under 3 days. Gudog beat off other nominees such as grind and monzo to win Crowdcube’s campaign of the year.
