We’ve partnered with WellVine (the first on-demand children's healthcare platform) to host a dinner for businesses in the ParentTech industry.
Enjoy dinner drinks and a chance to meet…
Max Jennings and Daniel Bower, the founders of Hoop, an activity finder app for children (fancy checking out a baby disco?). Earlier this year, they were crowned by Apple with ‘Best App of Week’.
They are serial entrepreneurs, previously working together and exiting from VoucherCodes.co.uk, the world's leading digital coupon market place.
The invite list includes others working in ParentTech, ranging from apps for family meal planning, childcare, entertainment, activity, parent communities, child banking services, wearables, tracking devices and co-working spaces.
This dinner is perfect for…
Entrepreneurs and those working in businesses that focus on providing products or services to parents and/or families – and those interested in the benefits to family life that these exciting services can bring.
Who are Max Jennings & Daniel Bower?…
Before founding Hoop, they have had various other successful exits. At VoucherCodes.co.uk, they grew the business to 8m members and 4m app downloads. In 2011 it was acquired by RetailMeNot Inc. which later (briefly) joined the Unicorn Club.
The dinner conversation will be…
Max and Dan will be sharing their story with Hoop, as well as drawing on their previous experiences:
✓ Tips to succeed in the ParentTech sector
✓ Their experiences from all stages of business with plenty of practical advice
✓ Discussing your challenges in the Q&A
Expect practical tips and advice that you can use to drive your own strategy. Over dinner you’ll also be able to informally share challenges, opportunities, ideas & contacts with the other diners.
You get a private dining experience, 2 course dinner with wine and speakers plus highly curated and relevant guestlist.
P.S. TableCrowd are offering complimentary cab rides home (£15) thanks to their partner, Gett, on first download of the app. Download the app in advance.
Max Jennings and Daniel Bower are co-founders of Hoop, an app that helps families find everything going on for kids. Max is Hoop's CMO and works on all things marketing and Daniel is CEO with a focus on product development. Prior to Hoop they were at VoucherCodes, growing to 8 million members and 4 million app installs to become the largest online coupon business in Europe. VoucherCodes was eventually sold to US coupon giant RetailMeNot, Inc.
