After Dinner roundup: Food startups with Victoria Stewart and FinTech with TransferWise
It’s been a busy few weeks at TableCrowd, lest we forget the recent sell out events we hosted with our partner, Alma CG. We recently had our fourth food startups dinner on 21 January which was a huge success. Victoria Stewart, Food Editor at The Evening Standard answered questions from the diners after her informative speech, at Mission in Bethnal Green. Covering the topic of the dos and don’ts of securing editorial coverage for your business, the food diners left armed with an arsenal of knowledge to help them strive to increase the brand awareness of their food startup.
Dinner with TransferWise on Wednesday 28 January at The Green in Clerkenwell was a fantastic evening, with everyone enjoying an after dinner talk with Joe Cross, Head of Consumer Marketing at TransferWise. Disruptive technology is huge in the FinTech world, with Paypal forging the way, and plenty of entrepreneurs jumping on board, it’s important to get your marketing campaign just right. Joe Cross was the brains behind TransferWise’s successful marketing campaigns and shared his experience with the diners as well as providing tips and tricks for others in the industry. All in all, it was a great dinner to mix with other FinTech startups and for diners to start toying with their marketing strategies.
