We met Sara, founder of TreatNOW at our #MeetandEat dinner in partnership with MyBeautyCompare earlier this week. She deserves an award for braving the Tube strikes and still making it to dinner whilst on crutches!

We wanted to find out a bit more about Sara and her company.

What’s the elevator pitch for your startup?
Health & beauty appointment? Find and book who’s near, who’s good and who’s available now!

What were you doing before you launched your startup?
Commercial Director for a TV post production group.

What’s your biggest ‘hindsight’ moment?
It may have been better to test launch in UK rather than France & even if you love twitter, tweeting for business purposes is harder than you might think.

What will 2014 bring?
An autumn London launch

1 piece of advice for someone starting a business in the beauty space?
Research, research, make contacts. Be nice.
