Tales from the trenches. Dinner for entrepreneurs at The Hoxton Hotel
TableCrowd had their second dinner in a week at The Hoxton Hotel (Shoreditch) last night. On Monday, Daniel Murray from Grabble hosted his Founders’ Dinner in the private dining room and last night TableCrowd hosted “Tales from the trenches” with Richie Barter, co-founder of Coolgarif Tech as after-dinner speaker.
The Hoxton Hotel is really supportive of the tech scene that is exploding on their doorstep and TableCrowd is regularly there for meetings and work sessions – and now dinners!
We were joined by a really interesting crowd including Richie, James and Hugh, the Coolgarif Tech wonder team! At Coolgarif Tech they live and breathe data, working with companies to help them do more with the data their business generates. Richie was our after-dinner speaker and he talked through the process of moving from banking into software development, building a team, working ethos and sideline revenues streams.
We were also joined by Nigel Dias, co-founder of the thriving Croydon TechCity, Santhosh Prabakaran who’s working on a data analytics startup and others from marketing agency and other backgrounds.

Our after-dinner speaker next week is serial entrepreneur and tech investor, Danny Meaney and the topic is investment. You can find out more about Danny and that dinner here.
