Cronuts on ‘the rise’ in London

The huge craze that hit America not so long ago, in New York specifically, is on the rise in London. The cronut is a cross between a doughnut and a croissant. This sweet sensation is a complicated recipe and took 2 months and 10 recipes to master by Chef Dominique Ansel.

The cronuts are so sought after in New York; in fact, people start queuing at 5am, when the bakery doesn’t open til 8am, just so they can get their hands on a cronut or ‘two’ (limited to two cronuts per person). Apparently, the reselling of these is strictly forbidden, so it seems Chef Dominique is onto something good. So, if you fancy a new and fresh sugar rush, here are a few places you can purchase them in London:
