Enjoy dinner drinks and a chance to meet…
Amy Lewin is a deputy editor at Sifted, a new media site covering tech and startups across Europe, backed by the Financial Times. Sifted's team of journalists across Europe report on everything from fintech to La French Tech, founder mental wellbeing to quirky company cultures. They're slightly allergic to funding round press releases, and like to call out bullshit where they see it. With a fast-growing and influential readership, this is the perfect time to meet with Amy and to hear all on securing media coverage for your business.
This dinner is perfect for…
Startup founders and CEOs and management level working in startups.
If you'd like to join but don't fall neatly within the above categories, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss whether this is the right dinner for you. Also feel free to check out our other dinners as another might match you perfectly!
The dinner conversation will be…
Sifted are keen to put the startup and entrepreneurial community at the heart of what they do. With this in mind, this is a great opportunity to meet with Amy and to find out more about:
✓ Securing media coverage for your business.
✓ What’s your story? Finding interesting ways to share your business journey.
✓ How to successfully approach a tech journalist and pitch your business — and what to avoid.
✓ Sifted — what kind of stories the team are interested in, how the team works, and how Sifted is different from other tech publications.
Who is Amy Lewin?
Amy Lewin is deputy editor at Sifted, a new media site covering tech and startups across Europe, backed by the FT. She is intrigued by the ‘human side’ of companies – because, as all founders know, people are the trickiest bit of any startup. She runs Sifted's newsletter and regularly speaks at startup and tech conferences. Previously, Amy covered startups as features editor at Courier magazine, where she also hosted and programmed talks and workshops.
You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd. This is a dinner, not a dropin event, so we ask that guests turn up on time and don’t leave until after the Q&A.
P.S. TableCrowd are offering complimentary cab rides home (£15) thanks to their partner, Gett, on first download of the app. Download the app in advance.
