After Dinner roundup: Digital Shadows, Gleam Futures and Honestly Healthy

We’ve had a great selection of dinners this week, ranging from social media and cyberthreats to healthy living and the alkaline diet! Here’s the lowdown on what happened at each one.

DomSmales1
Dom Smales of Gleam Futures on mastering YouTube
With 190 million viewers per month across the stars on Gleam Futures’ books, including Zoella, Pointless Blog and Tanya Burr, it’s obvious that Dom Smales and his team know what’s what when it comes to YouTube. And he didn’t fail to deliver an excellent set of tips and pointers for the diners at Monday’s dinner. Everyone left brimming full of ideas and plans for how to effectively implement YouTube into their business agenda. Breaking bread with the top social talent manager was a definite success.

DigitalShadows
Talking #cyberthreats with James Merrick from Digital Shadows
What an eye-opening evening for all who came to our Digital Shadows dinner. James Merrick offered sound advice and answered some in-depth questions asked by the FinTech crowd that descended on Apulia last night to pick his brain. As a cyberthreat intelligence company at the forefront of this industry, Digital Shadows have been recognised for innovation by the Technology Strategy Board, SWIFT, Cisco and Gartner. For many, this industry is unchartered territory, so it was an exciting evening for like-minded FinTech startups interested in cyberthreats, data loss and cyber attacks.

HonestlyHealthy
Dinner with Honestly Healthy’s Natasha Corrett
What a spectacularly nutritious meal we had at our dinner at Bumpkin Notting Hill last night. After being the venue to host Natasha’s book launch, it only seemed fitting that our diners joined us there to hear from Natasha on how she has capitalised her Honestly Healthy brand by adopting the ‘alkaline diet’. It was smiles all round the table, one diner said she “loved Natasha’s speech” while others proclaimed they would be buying her second book straight away!

Some of the diners that joined our dinners this week were:
Tech City News, Creatial, Mangostorm, Upper Street London, Fynder, Cult Beauty, Worry+Peace, SocioApps, Innovate Finance, PBI Consultancy, Burson-Marsteller, ClearMacro, TPG UK, MyBeautyMatches, Beautyspotter, What Sam Saw Today, Cortexica, One Vision Health, Gojimo, Grabble, Optaset, TheNewsMarket, Sticky Rice Digital, ProFinda, Doctor care anywhere and many many more.
