On my commute this morning I was in desperate need of a coffee and for once I thought I would change up from my usual black americano and order a Latte. Latte differs somewhat from other espresso based beverages by the way it’s assembled. A latte is made by pouring shots of espresso directly into the cup. The steamed milk is poured in and the drink is topped with a spoonful of foam. The espresso and the steamed milk completely mix together and the foam adorns the top.

When I looked down to my warm cup of latte I was greeted with the foam in the shape of a heart. Very impressed and possibly over excited, I decided to look up ‘Latte Art’  and here are some of the images I came across. Take a look at the 3D Panda (crazy baristas)!
